PRIVILEGE CARD T&C'S

 

THE MILL OUTLET, BATLEY (The Mill) Privilege Club Scheme (the Scheme) entitles its members to certain discounts and other benefits as notified by The Mill to the members from time to time.

These terms and conditions govern the entire Scheme and the use of The Mill Privilege Club Card (the Privilege Club Card) and any membership of or participation in the Scheme or use of the Privilege Club Card will be treated as acceptance of these terms and conditions. 

All members of the Scheme must, unless otherwise agreed by The Mill, must be aged 18 years or over. The Mill may refuse or revoke a membership for any reason. 

Each member is entitled to one Privilege Club account only. Members must keep The Mill informed of any changes to their personal or membership details.
 
The Privilege Club Card, in whatever form, is not transferable, cannot be copied and can only be used by the member who is named and registered for the card. 

The Mill may decline to issue, withdraw or cancel Privilege Club Cards, in whatever form, and/or remove a member from the Scheme at any time and for any reason, including where there is reasonable belief of: 

Any breach or attempted breach of these terms and conditions

Any abuse or attempted abuse of the Scheme

Any behaviour relating to the Scheme that involves theft, misconduct, abusive or offensive behaviour or supplying false or misleading information.

The Scheme is only for personal and consumer use. Privilege Club Cards may not be used for any business transaction or purpose.

The Privilege Club Card, in whatever form, is issued by and remains the property of The Mill, which may, at any time, terminate the Scheme or alter or amend the conditions of operation of the Scheme. The Privilege Club Card must be returned to The Mill on request or destroyed when no longer valid for use.

Privilege Club Cards remain the responsibility of the Privilege Club member, as do any security details relating to the account. The Mill cannot be held responsible for any loss arising from the member failing to ensure the safe-keeping of these items. Privilege Club Cards cannot be transferred, bought, sold or in any way traded.

All Privilege Club Cards are subject to an expiry date, beyond which they cannot be used or reissued. The Mill reserves to right change the expiry date at any time, in its sole discretion and without notice. The Mill further reserves the right not to reissue any lost, stolen or mislaid Privilege Club Cards. 

The Mill reserves the right to exclude any products from the Scheme from time to time and all products subject to the Scheme shall be subject to availability.
By participating in the Scheme, The Mill will collect and use information about each member, including their registration details, information about the use of their Privilege Club Card, purchases and other information that the member gives The Mill.

The Mill may analyse the member’s information to see how they use the Scheme, to understand their shopping behaviour and to send the member information, offers and promotions for the products which are most likely to interest them.

By being a Scheme member and providing your details, you agree that The Mill can contact you with news about products. The Mill will never release a member’s personal details to any company outside the The Mill Group for them to use for their own mailing or marketing purposes.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England, and any disputes will be decided only by the English courts in accordance with English law. The Mill reserves the right to change these terms and conditions, at any time, on reasonable notice for legal, regulatory, business or policy reasons. Members who continue to participate in the Scheme following notification of such a change will be considered to have accepted the updated terms and conditions.

A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of these terms and conditions, but this shall not affect any right or remedy of a third party which exists or is available apart from that Act.

 

 


 

 

SIGNING UP TO OUR EMAIL DATABASE

  

Prize Draw winner is picked at random on any date of every month
1. The winners will be notified by email and may have their vouchers posted or collect in store. 
2. No cash alternative to the prize will be offered and the prize is not transferable. No change is given 
to voucher spend.
3. Incomplete, partial and duplicate entries will be excluded from the competition. The winner will be 
drawn at random from the entries received the preceding month only.
4. Each winner will be notified within 28 days of the date they signed up.
If winners do not respond within 28 days of that email then the prize money will be withdrawn and
re-allocated the following month.
5. By entering the Prize Draw you are agreeing to subscribe to The Mill’s email database. Your personal
details will be used only by us, and no one else. We will never pass your details on to a 3rd party. 
6. Our email database is used to send customers news and information from our store website
www.themillbatley.com 
7.Submission of an email address via the website gives permission to receive offers from
 that website address. 
8 Winners may be required to take part in publicity resulting from this draw without entitlement to 
any financial reward.
9 Open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 and over. Entries limited to one per person. No 
employees of The Mill Outlet or any of the stores within the centre, partner companies, or any family 
members associated with these groups are eligible to enter. Management reserve the right to withdraw
the promotion at any time.
10 The Mill Outlet’s decision with all matters to do with the promotion is final and no correspondence will
be entered into. The management team reserves the right to amend or alter these conditions and 
promotion at any time and without notice to participants.
 

 

PRIZE DRAW COMPETITIONS
 
Open to United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland residents aged 18 or over only, except employees of the Promoter, Batley Estate Company, and their associated, affiliated or subsidiary companies, their families, agents or any other person(s) connected with the competition, including third party promotional partners.
One entry per person. Bulk, automatically generated or third party entries are void.
To enter you must complete and submit the entry form on the Competition page /SIGN UP VIA THE SIGN UP FORM OR BE AN EXISTING CUSTOMER ON OUR MAILIng LIST, before the Closing Date.
There will be one winner only.
The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries for this Promotion received before the Closing Date
The winner will be notified by email or phone or using the other contact details provided by the winners within seven days after the Closing Date. All reasonable endeavours will be made to contact the winners during the specified time. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to re-draw another winner from the valid/correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.

 

The prize consists of £50 (FIFTY pounds) of Gift Vouchers to spend in The Mill Outlet & Garden Centre, Batley. 
No cash refunds under any circumstances. No change given for partly used vouchers. If the winner purchases a product/service that costs more than the voucher value/remaining value of the voucher the winner will need to pay the balance.
The prize is non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives to the prize in whole or in part.

COMPETITION

 

    1. You must be 18 or over to be eligible for entry and resident in the UK.
    2. Batley Estate Co will notify the winner through Facebook messenger and via a Comment or edit on the competition post within 5 days of competition closing date.
    3. The winner will be invited to collect their prize from store or we will send the prize to the winner within 30 days.
      Your participation in the prize draw is considered your agreement that we may contact you.
    4. In the event, for any reason whatsoever, the winner of the prize draw fails to respond within 7 days through email or by telephone then the winning entrant shall be deemed to have forfeited his/her claim to the prize and a new winner will be drawn. Batley Estate co shall not have any obligation whatsoever to compensate the initial winning entrant in any way.
    5. By entering the prize draw each entrant unreservedly agrees to these terms and conditions.
    6. Batley Estate Co reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time and in its sole discretion.
    7. Only open to persons who are resident in the United Kingdom and persons who are resident outside of the United Kingdom may not apply.
    8. Batley Estate Co accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, injury (other than our liability for personal injury or death as a result of our negligence) or disappointment of any kind suffered by any entrant in entering the Competition, including as a result of any entrant winning or not winning any prize.
    9. Batley Estate Co accepts no responsibility for Entries lost due to computer error in transit.
    10. The Prize Draw is not open to employees or agencies of Batley Estate Co, their group companies or family members or anyone else connected to the Prize Draw.
    11. The winner is required to agree to marketing promotional activity, specifically the announcement that they have won the prize on the Batley Estate Co website, social media pages and newsletter.

 

*GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR COMPETITIONS
 
  1. These terms and conditions apply to all competitions (unless and to the extent that) the competition states otherwise.
  2. The winner is responsible for ensuring they are able to accept the prize as set out and in accordance with these terms and conditions, in the event they are unable to do so then the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize.
  3. Entry is free but entrants should be aware that they may be subject to data charges depending on their own individual arrangements for Internet access if entry is online or by email.
  4. An eligible entrant must be an individual, must enter on their own behalf, and must submit an entry in the form requested by the Promoter under this promotion including their name, address and e-mail address.
  5. By entering, all eligible entrants agree to abide by each and all these terms and conditions. Misrepresentative or fraudulent entries will invalidate an entry. Where a competition involves a voting process:  offering or receiving any incentive for voting is not permitted and will invalidate the vote, and may disqualify the recipient of the vote. The Promoter reserves the right, with or without cause, to exclude entrants and withhold prizes for violating any of these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Any amendments will be published on the Promoter’s website (the “Website”).
  6. The Promoter reserves the right to publish entries (including parts of entries) other than the winning entry and publication does not necessarily mean the entrant has won a prize.
  7. Entrants will retain copyright in their submitted entries, however, by entering, all entrants licence the Promoter a worldwide royalty-free perpetual licence to edit, publish and use each entry in any and all media (including print and online) for publicity and news purposes. The Promoter reserves the right to publish entries (including parts of entries) although publication does not necessarily mean the entrant has won a prize.
  8. There is no cash or other alternative to the prize stated and the prize is not transferable and no part or parts of the prize may be substituted for other benefits, items or additions.
  9. Winners may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize. Email addresses will be added to The Mill's mailing list from which the addressee may unsubscribe upon receipt of any marketing emails.
  10.  The Promoter’s decision is final and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.
  11.  The Promoter will not be liable for technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind or lost or unavailable network connections that may limit or prohibit an eligible entrant’s ability to participate in the competition.  Other than death or personal injury arising from the acts or omissions of the Promoter or its employees, the Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of the winner’s (or their guest’s) enjoyment of the prize.
  12.  By entering, any subsequent prize winners agree to allow the free use of their names, photographs and general locations for publicity and news purposes during this and future promotions by the Promoter 
  13.  Uses of personal data received by the Promoter in the course of the promotion are subject to the privacy policy found on the Website. Winners’ names may be published on the Website.
  14.  Completion and submission of a registration slip or e-mail will be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  15.  The Promoter reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the competition (including altering prizes) if, in our sole discretion, a competition is not capable of being conducted as specified. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value in the event that circumstances beyond their control make this unavoidable. In the event of a printing or other error resulting in there being more winners than prizes for the competition, the Promoter reserves the right at any time to allocate the available prize(s) through a further draw or to divide the prize(s) or the value of the prize(s) between the winners of the competition.
